    What works from the island

    The island holds a PreToolUse card when the tool changes something, so you can approve or deny that change. Exit 0 is not itself an allow. A question is not answered on the island.

    How it connects

    Setup finds Factory Droid and Connect writes ~/.factory/hooks.json. Connect writes the file. This agent is not on the restart list, so an open process is expected to see the new file.

    How to check it works

    After Connect, that file is on disk. Ask Factory Droid to do the action named above. A card agent shows the request on the island. A status agent shows its state, and Jump opens the agent.

    Troubleshooting

    If the file is missing, run Connect again from the app. If the agent was already open and this page says to start it again, close it and open it once. Disconnect in the app removes the hook Pet Island wrote.
