What works from the island
The wait table has no Windsurf card. The island shows what Windsurf is doing and jumps to it. It does not approve, deny, or answer from the island.

How it connects
Setup finds Windsurf and Connect writes ~/.codeium/windsurf/hooks.json. Connect writes the file. A process that is already open may not see it until you start the agent again. The app keeps a restart hint for this one.

How to check it works
After Connect, that file is on disk. Ask Windsurf to do the action named above. A card agent shows the request on the island. A status agent shows its state, and Jump opens the agent.

Troubleshooting
If the file is missing, run Connect again from the app. If the agent was already open and this page says to start it again, close it and open it once. Disconnect in the app removes the hook Pet Island wrote.
