What works from the island
The island holds a PreToolUse card when the tool changes something, so you can approve or deny that change. A question is not answered on the island.

How it connects
Setup finds Antigravity and Connect writes ~/.gemini/config/hooks.json. Connect writes the file. A process that is already open may not see it until you start the agent again. The app keeps a restart hint for this one.

How to check it works
After Connect, that file is on disk. Ask Antigravity to do the action named above. A card agent shows the request on the island. A status agent shows its state, and Jump opens the agent.

Troubleshooting
If the file is missing, run Connect again from the app. If the agent was already open and this page says to start it again, close it and open it once. Disconnect in the app removes the hook Pet Island wrote.
