Privacy Policy

Pet Island is made by Linker Page Inc., Dover, Delaware, USA. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never collect.

The short version

Your code, prompts and the content of your agent sessions stay on your computer. They are never sent to us.
We keep what we need to sell you a license, keep it working, and email you about it.

What the app does on your computer

The app reads the requests your AI coding agents send (for example "run npm test") so it can show them on the island and pass your answer back. This happens locally. Settings, your pet and session details are stored on your computer.

What we collect

Purchase: your email, what you bought, the price, the order language, and the payment ID from Whop. Card details are handled by Whop; we never receive them.
License: the email you sign in with, a license id and, for each signed-in computer, a one-way hash of a few hardware identifiers and a public key the app creates on that computer (its private half never leaves the computer), the computer name, operating system and app version, and when it last checked in. These keep one license from running on more computers than it covers. We do not store the raw hardware identifiers.
Account (optional): if you sign in, your email and, for Google or GitHub sign-in, your account ID and name from that service. For security, we keep the browser, approximate place (city/country from your IP) and time of sign-ins.
Feeders wall (optional): the name, handle, line and photo you choose to publish.
Pet card (optional): the numbers you choose to publish on your public card.
Website analytics: pages viewed, downloads and checkout starts, with the country and the referring site. Visitors are counted with a daily anonymous hash; we do not use advertising cookies.
Crash reports (optional, on by default, can be turned off in Settings): what broke, with no code, prompts or file names.

Why we use it

To deliver and protect your license, process refunds, send purchase, security and service emails, run the food fund and feeders wall, prevent abuse, and understand how the site is used.

E-Mails

We send emails you need (purchase, sign-in codes, security notices, refunds). Product news, monthly food reports and tips can be turned off in your account at any time.

Who processes data for us

Whop (payments and invoices)
Cloudflare (website, servers, storage)
Resend (sending emails)
Google and GitHub (only if you sign in with them)

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Purchase and license records: as long as the license exists and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Sign-in logs and website analytics: up to 30 days of detail, then only totals. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we keep only what the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@petisland.dev. If you live in the EU or the UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
